Vantaa Gymnastics Club - Vantaan Voimisteluseura (VVS)

VVS was founded in 1976 and is one of the biggest gymnastic and dance associations in Finland. The club has close to 1500 members and is a member of Svoli ry, The Finnish Gymnastics Federation. VVS offers exercise and competition possibilities versatilely in gymnastics, dance and fitness exercise for different age groups throughout lifetime.

In aesthetic group gymnastics the club aims to compete in world class top level. The club is an active local organizer of different events, competitions and shows. It welcomes youth and adults to join in to enjoy cooperation and activities and promotes good spirit.

- Exercise with good spirit –

VVS operations are divided into three sectors: gymnastics, dance and freetime exercise. Basic exercising offers members different kinds of exercising classes from beginners to more advanced hobbyists. Dance classes offer different street dance genres for children and youth. Street dancing is a increasingly popular hobby among youth and VVS encourages different age groups to start the hobby by offering beginner classes for youth and even adults. Children can start gymnastics in the club at the age of 3-4 years. Further on teams are formed aiming for national or even international level in aesthetic group gymnastics. Also teams for hobbyists are offered for gymnasts in different age groups.
